Everything we run in She's NTAP works toward the same thing: settling faster in a new country, in a corporate culture with unfamiliar rules, in a business built here from zero. It happens in unglamorous ways. We show up, we get to know each other, we pass on what we learned the hard way, and we keep practicing how we say it until the English sounds like us.

Three of this week's rooms are for members. The fourth, networking on Monday, September 21, is open to everyone, and it is where all that practice meets people who have never met you.

You know what you want to say. In Russian you would say it without thinking, and in English something drops out on the way, so you simplify, or you stay quiet in the meeting where you had the better point.

Ten weeks with Lori Friend on the sounds and speech habits that trip up Russian speakers in particular. Three students per group, individual feedback in every class.

This is the second group, both of them filled, and there will be a third. The waitlist is who we open it to first.

This week Iuliia Dubrovskaia takes on what immigration does to relationships. Some friendships do not survive the distance and the missing context. Others appear in a year and go deeper than the ones you had for ten.

It is a speaking club rather than an English class. No grammar drills, and mistakes are part of how it works. Come at whatever level of English you have.

Tuesday, 6:00 PM ET.

The smallest room we run, and the most useful one if you have something real coming up at work. You bring it, present for 10 minutes, and get 5 minutes of feedback on clarity, executive presence and word choice. Nobody here needs grammar.

Azhar Imanakunova hosts, four seats per session, for community members.

Friday, 6:00 PM ET.

Most of what we run is for members. Networking stays open on purpose, because a network that only talks to itself stops being one. Current members, past participants and women who have never been to anything of ours are all welcome.

In the U.S. opportunities travel through referrals and warm introductions, so your growth depends on your skills and on who remembers you exist when something opens up.

In breakout rotations you meet 12 to 24 professionals, deliver your introduction in 30 to 60 seconds, and leave with LinkedIn contacts and a simple way to follow up. Then every woman who attends gets personal feedback from us: what we heard, what worked, what to change before the next room she walks into.
