Hello Community,

We wrapped up our first-ever She's New to America Pro online hackathon, and I am still buzzing from the energy, creativity, and pure talent you all brought to the table. Seeing 30+ members come together to build real solutions was truly inspiring.

After tallying up thousands of votes and reviewing 15 brilliant demos, we’re thrilled to announce our winners!

🥇 1st Place: Pearl Motherhood Haven

Founders: Guzal Alimova, Rufina Kim, and Karomat Alimova

Total Votes: 891 (Mind blowing!!)

This project is "wow." Building an entire ecosystem in just 48 hours is a mind-blowing achievement. Congratulations!!

  • Concept: The "Matching for moms" idea is genius. We all know how hard it is to find your "tribe" as a mom-finding others who share your values and whose kids are the same age.

  • User Experience: The platform is visually stunning—polished, thoughtful, and inviting. Beyond the design, building a full registration system for a hackathon project is a massive technical achievement. It felt like a real product, not just a demo.

  • Impact: The founders' story and the clear problem statement made the "why" resonate deeply. We were able to complete the entire user journey, and the inclusion of safety details shows immense maturity.

Thank you, Guzal, Rufina and Karomat for your great project!

🥈 2nd Place: AI Speaking Coach

Founder: Kamshat Mussina

This is a masterclass in using AI for social good. Great job! Thank you!!

  • Concept: This project is a masterclass in professional empowerment, tackling the "communication gap" often faced by immigrant professionals. By providing a private, AI-driven laboratory, it offers a safe, judgment-free space to practice and refine delivery.

  • User Experience: The platform is designed for immediate value. The feedback loop is fast and intuitive, delivering real-time, actionable insights that make improving speech patterns feel manageable. It’s a seamless, high-utility experience.

  • Impact: This tool is a true career accelerator. By building the foundational confidence needed to lead and present, it opens doors to leadership roles. It scales the power of mentorship through AI, helping a massive number of women claim their seats at the table.

🥉 3rd Place: The Voters Choice Award

Founder: Amarachi Ndukwu (Project: CareNest) | Total Votes: 737

Recognized as the second most loved project on our website! CareNest addresses a vital and deeply important problem: navigating maternal healthcare as an immigrant woman.

  • The Highlights: The site is visually beautiful-clean, warm, and welcoming. From the very first screen, you feel seen and supported.

  • The Power of Connection: What makes CareNest special is the personal touch and the direct guidance offered to women during such a critical time in their lives.

  • The Story: Amarachi has already begun sharing this story on LinkedIn, building a narrative that the world needs to hear. This project has real heart and massive potential for impact.
